It's funny how life often imitates fiction. I realized yesterday that life does have a ripple effect. We recently read a story (The Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury) that was based on the concept of time travel and that when they destroyed a dinosaur in one time period when they returned to their year they found that who won the presidential election had changed. Yesterday it hit me that how we interact with each other, however small, it causes a riipple. Some of those ripples are small and go unnoticed but some of those ripples are big and the effects of it can be seen and felt in a major way. So I will say this....treat people with kindness. It will not only change their life but it will eventually ripple back to you and change yours.
Have a great day everyone!
I agree with you on this. I think that the way we treat people can really change someone's life. Someone could be having a bad day and recieve a compliment from a complete stranger and that could change their outlook for the rest of the day. So we must all be careful of how we treat each other because it could change someones life.
ReplyDeleteI swear every life event has a ripple effect! I believe in this so much! It's like I didn't come to school one day and my partner for a class project went but i wasn't there so they set her up with someone else. That someone else could have no knowledge about the project at hand so they could cause my partner a bad grade. So I would have caused her an issue by my choice of not coming to school that day. That's my example of a ripple effect in a small situation in life.
